Frankie’s Friends helped Sugar receive lifesaving surgery for a cystotomy. This is a note from her family.

I would like to thank any and everyone that donates to this organization. You all have made it possible for many deserving people and their pets to stay together by preventing euthanasia or surrendering their pets to rescues or shelters do to the inability to provide vet care at that time. Our country is in trouble at this time and many good hardworking folk or people that worked hard in their life and now collect social security can not make it. Many of us contributed many years of hard labor and are barely surviving now. People like you have helped us stay united with one of the most important souls in our lives, our pets. Many of us had very different circumstances when we adopted our pets. We did not anticipate huge vet bills and emergencies. At the time we just wanted to give that pet a good life. I have always been a giver my whole life and it certainly feels different being on this side. But I have learned to stay humble and never be ashamed to ask for help.for there are good people like you still in this world. Thank you for helping save our sugar bear. Her presence is vital to my entire families mental health. She is a special girl. However my autistic son is her person. And if he could understand what’s going on and voice it to you he would thank you from the bottom of his heart. Thank you all for still having compassion and humanity in such a confused world.
